First meal in Munich and we dodged the crowds in Karlsplatz, moseyed down a side street, and ordered up some pork and carbs.
The menu was in German and my coworker described this as ‘young swine roasted with gravy, a potato ball, some sauerkraut’. My response: ok, I’m getting that. This was washed down with raddlers which are half lager/half Sprite concoctions that go down so easy that you’ll have half the glass downed before you know it.
The pork was tender, the gravy deep and rich, the potato ball had some bite, and the sauerkraut added that much needed tang.
The pork cracklin’ aka a Filipino girl’s delight was a surprise bonus.
