Our weekend of gluttony was catching up to us by Saturday night and we opted for a comparatively lighter dinner (which was followed up by a trip to Voodoo Donuts but that’s a story for tomorrow…).
Saucebox won because it was basically right across the street from our hotel. Admittedly, this place looked like the restaurants in the Bay Area that are all fancy decor but meh food. Thankfully, Portland continued to deliver on good food and our meal came with nice decor AND tastiness.
Soft shell crab buns. These pillows of goodness are always welcome in my world. I shared the other with Julia because I’m friendly like that and because she had some sashimi to trade.
There’s some sort of sweet and salty tamari based sauce at the bottom of this bowl that ups the ante on theseĀ brussel sprouts.
