This was a great wrap up to a weekend of crazy eating.
Thick crusty toast, creamy ripe avocado, pickled onions, sliced radishes, bits of celery and other greens, a healthy sprinkling of salt+pepper, a bit of chive, and a poached egg.
Honorable mention: the white miso kouign amann from Sugarbloom bakery (that sells at Blacktop). Wish #1: there was another one for me to take home. Wish #2: that my phone hadn’t eaten up the picture of the photogenic layers of buttery flaky pastry inside. Sob.
